What we produce for automotive brands
As an automotive video production company, we work across the whole chain: car makers and their dealer networks, motorcycle and commercial vehicle brands, parts and systems suppliers, and mobility platforms. A car maker needs a reveal that turns heads; a supplier needs a film that makes an invisible part matter; a mobility platform needs to explain a service in seconds. The films change from audience to audience. The standard does not.

Built to be seen in motion
Cars are designed to be looked at, and buyers judge them in seconds: the line of the roof, the light on the paint, the sound of the door closing. Automotive video production lives or dies on those details. We plan every shot around how the vehicle and the people around it should feel, then deliver the film in every format the launch, the dealer network and the media plan need. The same care goes into a factory, a supplier’s component or a mobility service that has no car to show at all.
Films we produced for car makers, suppliers and mobility brands, from launch and campaign work to plant and training films. Trailers are public and full films are available on request. Launch work can only be shared after its embargo lifts, so ask us for the closest examples to your brief and we will send what we are allowed to show.
Before the first shot
Six details that make or break a vehicle shoot
A car shoot looks simple from the outside: a car, a road, a camera. Inside, it is a chain of decisions that has to be locked before the crew arrives. These are the six we settle with your team first.
01
The hero vehicle
Which model, trim and color, prepared and protected for camera.
02
The embargo
Who can see the car, where, and until when.
03
Locations and permits
Roads, tracks and studios, cleared and safe to drive.
driver
04
Driving and safety
Professional drivers, closed roads and camera cars.
05
Market versions
Trims, specs and claims that change by country.
06
Headquarters approval
Brand, product and legal sign-off, often in another country.

Launching in several markets?
How we produce automotive films
From the brief to the dealer floor
Five stages designed around embargo dates, headquarters approvals and the long tail of versions every automotive launch needs.

“The car is the hero.
The plan is the safety net.”
Every automotive shoot depends on things that cannot slip: an embargo, a prototype, a closed road. Each stage closes with an approval so none of them does.
One launch. Every market on the rollout.
A vehicle launched in Europe arrives in Latin America months later, with different trims, different claims and a different language. We plan automotive films for the whole rollout: one production designed for adaptation, local talent and voice-over where needed, and versions delivered to every market and channel on the plan.

What automotive teams ask us first
Automotive marketing teams have seen every kind of car film. What they want to know is whether a production partner can handle the pressure around it: the secrecy, the approvals, the safety and the sheer number of versions. These are the concerns we hear most, and how we handle each one.
01.
Can you keep a pre-release model secret?
Yes. NDAs before the briefing, covered transport, closed sets, restricted phones on set and footage stored under your rules until the reveal.
02.
Will headquarters approve it?
Global brands have CI rules, product claims and approval chains that run through another country. We work to your brand manuals and plan review rounds with the region and headquarters from day one.
03.
Can one shoot serve the launch, dealers and media?
That is the point of planning. We capture the hero film, product details, people and cutdowns in the same days, so the dealer network and the media plan get their versions without a second shoot.
04.
Are the driving shots safe and legal?
Professional drivers, closed roads or tracks, permits and camera cars. Nobody takes risks for a shot, and nothing on screen shows driving your legal team would have to explain.
05.
Do specs change by market?
Almost always. Trims, prices, features and claims vary by country. We plan market versions in the script, not in the last week of the edit.
06.
Can you film inside our plants?
Yes. We work to plant safety rules, wear the protective equipment your sites require and plan around production so the line keeps running.
07.
Will the film age before the car does?
Launch films get reused for years in showrooms, events and training. We avoid trends that date quickly, keep the brand system consistent and deliver clean masters so the film can be updated for a facelift or a new market.
Automotive work, from the plant to the showroom
Our automotive and mobility clients include Volkswagen, Audi, Renault, Peugeot, Citroën, MAN, Magna, Yamaha, Triumph Motorcycles and Uber: 15 named clients, 12 of them large enterprises, headquartered in seven countries. We have filmed vehicles, factories, suppliers and the people behind them. For Rossetti, a maker of tipper bodies and road transport equipment, we wrote and produced a brand film in a single filming day at its Guarulhos plant, with drone shots for scale and the equipment unloading on camera. Rossetti then recommended us to its partner Comlink, which hired us for a new film at the same plant.
Formats we produce most
The films automotive teams ask for
Automotive video production is a family of formats, not one. These three come up in almost every brief we receive from car makers, suppliers and mobility brands, and each has its own page with the stages and deliverables specific to it.
Launch
Product and launch films

Questions from automotive teams
What product marketing, communications and dealer network leads ask before they brief a production partner.
What is automotive video production?
Automotive video production is the planning and production of films for car makers, motorcycle and commercial vehicle brands, parts suppliers, dealer networks and mobility companies. It covers launch films, campaign spots, dealer and technical training, factory and supplier films and event content, usually under embargo and with approvals that run through regional teams and headquarters.
Do you produce car commercials?
Yes. We produce spots for TV, CTV and paid social, with the cutdowns and market versions a media plan needs, directed by independent directors available for commercial projects through Olive Tree Films. See commercial video production.
How do you protect a vehicle before its launch?
NDAs before the briefing, covered transport, closed sets, restricted phones and controlled access for everyone on the crew. Footage is stored and shared under your rules, and nothing leaves the edit suite until the embargo lifts.
Can you film driving scenes safely?
Yes. Driving scenes are planned with professional drivers, closed roads or tracks, the right permits and camera cars. We also check that nothing on screen shows driving behavior your legal team would have to explain in any market where the film runs.
Do you work with suppliers and mobility companies, not only car makers?
Yes. Our automotive and mobility clients include component and systems suppliers such as Magna, commercial vehicle makers such as MAN and mobility platforms such as Uber, as well as car and motorcycle brands. Suppliers often need films that explain a part nobody sees; mobility brands need films that explain a service.
Can you produce dealer training videos?
Yes. Sales, product and service training for dealer networks is one of the most useful things a launch shoot can feed. We plan training modules from the same production, in every language your network needs. See corporate training videos.
Do you film motorcycles and commercial vehicles too?
Yes. Our clients include motorcycle brands such as Yamaha and Triumph Motorcycles and commercial vehicle makers such as MAN. Each needs a different language on screen: freedom and character for motorcycles, reliability and cost of ownership for fleets, and the people who depend on both.
How do you make a film about a component nobody sees?
By showing what it makes possible. A brake system is a family arriving home; a seat structure is hours on the road without pain. We combine engineering detail, animation where the camera cannot go and the people who design, build and rely on the part, so a buyer understands both how it works and why it matters.
Can one shoot cover several markets?
That is how we prefer to plan it. One production designed for adaptation, with trims, claims, supers and voice-over versioned per market. See multi-market video production.
How early should we start before a launch?
As soon as the launch plan and the embargo dates exist. Vehicles, locations and approvals all take time to secure, so tell us the date at the first conversation and we will tell you honestly what fits in the window.
