Case Study Video Production That Earns Customer Trust

Buyers trust other customers more than they trust your claims. We film the people who use your product, in the places where it works, and turn their experience into proof.

For marketing and sales teams

The most persuasive person in your next deal is a customer who already said yes.

Real customers. Real results. No scripts.

Trust is the part you cannot claim

Every company says it is reliable, experienced and easy to work with. Buyers have heard it so often that it no longer registers. What they listen to instead is evidence from someone like them: a customer in the same industry, with the same problem, who took the same risk and can say how it turned out.

That is why the hardest part of a B2B sale is often the middle of it, when the buyer is interested but not yet convinced, and the question in the room is whether it will really work for them. A good case study video answers that question with a person, a place and a result, in a few minutes the buyer can share with everyone else in the decision.

The challenge is that customers are busy, cautious about what they say in public and not used to cameras. Getting a story that is honest, specific and approved by both companies is a production skill in its own right.

Trust also depends on timing. A customer story filmed while the results are fresh is easier to approve and more convincing to watch than one assembled long afterwards from memory. That is why we help marketing and customer success teams spot the right stories early, agree with the customer on what can be said and plan a shoot that respects their time. The result is a library of proof that grows with the business, organized by industry, problem and size of customer, so sales can always send the story closest to the buyer in front of them.

What makes case study videos lose credibility

Most failed customer videos fail before the camera is turned on. These are the mistakes we plan around.

01.

Scripted customers

A customer reading prepared lines sounds like an advertisement. We interview customers, prepare them before the shoot and let them use their own words.

02.

No real setting

A customer filmed in front of a blank wall could be anyone. We film where the product is used, so the story has a place buyers can recognize.

03.

Vague results

Better, faster and easier mean little without context. We help the customer describe what changed in concrete terms they are allowed to share publicly.

04.

Approval surprises

A finished film that the customer’s legal team blocks is a lost investment. We agree on permissions, topics and review rights with both companies before the shoot.

05.

One long film

A ten-minute interview rarely gets watched. We deliver a main film plus short cuts for proposals, social channels and sales conversations.

Comlink:
Customer case

After we produced Rossetti’s industrial brand film, Rossetti recommended us to Comlink, a company it works with. Comlink then commissioned a customer case featuring Rossetti: an interview between Comlink’s host and a Rossetti mechanical engineer, filmed at the Guarulhos plant with two cameras and dedicated audio, for a video of approximately three minutes. Read the Rossetti case.

The trailer is public. The full film is available on request.

Customer success videos

Tuvis, through its customers

For Tuvis, a platform connecting CRM systems to messaging apps, we filmed customer success videos inside companies that use it, including Vivo, Sem Parar and SumUp. Each story shows the platform where it actually works. Read the Tuvis case.

Customers in other countries?

Your best references are not always in the same city as your marketing team. We film customers where they are, with local crews working to our standard and one producer coordinating schedules, permissions and approvals across companies and countries. Interviews can be recorded in the customer’s own language and delivered with subtitles or voice-over for every market where the story will be used.

For companies running references across regions, that turns a scattered set of testimonials into a consistent library: same look, same structure, same quality, whatever the country. See how it works in global video production.

For companies selling in several countries, local customer stories matter even more, because buyers trust a peer from their own market. We film them with the same structure and standard, wherever the customer is.

From a willing customer to an approved film

Five stages designed to protect the relationship with your customer while getting a story buyers believe.

The customer, the story and the result worth telling, chosen with your account team.

  2. Permissions

Topics, data, brand use and review rights agreed with both companies.

  3. Preparation

A pre-interview call, so the customer knows what to expect and feels at ease.

  4. Filming

Interview and scenes at the customer’s site, with minimal disruption.

  5. Edit and approval

Main film, short cuts and a review round with the customer before release.

Questions about case study videos

Short answers for teams that want customers to tell the story.

What is a case study video?

A short film in which a real customer explains the problem they had, why they chose a solution and what changed after. It turns a written case study into proof buyers can see and share, usually in a few minutes, with shorter cuts for sales and social channels.

By letting customers speak in their own words, in their real workplace, about specific results they are allowed to share. Specific stories from people like the buyer are more convincing than any claim a company makes about itself.

Make it easy and safe. We agree topics and review rights before the shoot, keep filming short, prepare the customer with a pre-interview and give them approval of the final cut. Many customers also value the visibility the film gives their own company.

Most of the time goes into scheduling and permissions, not filming. Once the customer has agreed, the interview and site scenes usually fit in a single day, followed by editing and a review round with both companies.

When the customer can share them, yes, with context. A concrete result is far more credible than adjectives, but only figures the customer has approved for public use should appear, and they should be attributed to the customer.

A testimonial is a short endorsement; a case study video tells the whole story, from the problem to the result. Many projects produce both from the same shoot: a full case study for evaluators and short testimonial cuts for earlier in the buying journey.

Customers who resemble the buyers you want more of, with a clear before and after and someone willing to speak openly about the decision. A smaller customer with a specific story often persuades more than a famous name with a vague one.

We agree on topics and boundaries before the shoot, share the interview guide in advance and send the edit for review by both companies. Clear rules upfront keep the approval short and protect the relationship with the customer.

Anywhere a buyer needs reassurance: on industry landing pages, in sales emails and proposals, at events and in onboarding for new customers. Short cuts of the same story work on social channels and in presentations.
